Editorial Standards and Research Process

How financial analysis is researched, reviewed and updated on alizaighamagha.com. Source hierarchy, review process, AI disclosure, corrections, conflicts and limitations.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this website is to provide independent, educational financial analysis that helps investors, businesses and companies make more informed decisions. Content is written in plain English, with institutional-grade analytical rigour applied to topics that are often communicated poorly.

2. Source Hierarchy

Analysis is based on primary sources wherever possible: company financial statements, regulatory filings, central bank data, and exchange filings. Secondary sources (broker reports, news articles) are used for context but not as the basis for conclusions. When data is estimated or interpolated, this is stated explicitly.

3. Review Process

Each article follows a structured process: topic selection based on reader relevance, research using the five-step method, drafting in plain English, factual review against source documents, and final review for clarity and balance. Articles are reviewed periodically and updated when new information becomes available.

4. AI Disclosure

AI tools are used in the research and drafting process — for data gathering, initial analysis, and language refinement. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited by Ali Zaigham Agha. AI does not make investment recommendations and no content should be interpreted as such.

5. Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly and transparently. When a material error is identified, a correction note is added to the article explaining what was changed and why. Minor updates (formatting, links) do not require correction notes.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Ali Zaigham Agha does not sell financial products, receive commissions, or have arrangements with product providers. Services are fee-for-time. This independence is a core principle and is not negotiable.

7. Limitations

All analysis is educational and informational. It does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a guarantee of future performance. Readers are responsible for their own investment decisions.
